I thought he was liked at Man U? or am I wrong?

I agree with el divo. He is a stupid player who cant play. All he does is run and dive. He can't play. Man U fans have been ignorant of such stupidity in their team but finally realized that he should not be playing in such a prestigious team. I like Man U but find him an asshole who dives and runs. Let him rot in hell.

He's all style over substance. He just dribbles and dribbles until eventually he gets the balls stolen away from him. Because I hate Man U so much, I rejoice in watching Ronaldo do his graceful but otherwise pointless step-overs down the side of the field, holding onto the ball far too long and ruining the development of his team's play. He gets past a guy or two but then continues to dribble more until the ball is stolen away. And he's been doing the same thing with Portugal. Plus he's a whiney punk.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was C.Ronaldo not the most exciting player in Portugal vs France's game... the guy has great skill, and actually likes to take on defenders, which is something we don't get to see to much.. yah he's still young, and has a little attitude, yet i think it is very ignorant for people to recognize his talent. England is just so very stubborn they loss.. Rooney diserved that red-card, and cannot place the blame on Ronaldo...

oh he's definitely got talent --- u would have to be blind if u dont recognise that --- but his problem is he sticks to the ball too long --- dribbles and dribbles and dribbles...... does a few pointless step-overs too --- a li'l bit of showing off--- he's basically got a bit of an attitude....well that was mellow of me... he's got a LOT of attitude --- and that is something which might cost the team especially in a game like football. he holds on to the ball too long ; gets past a few defenders ( VERY damaging to the team game ; );; well he loses the ball eventually -- so what's the point?!! stupid thing to do -- when a few successful passes could drive the ball into the main zone --- and one might just come off!! so out of the Man.U team will do him good --- what he needs is "takin down a few pegs" well in layman's terms --- lets just say C.Ronaldo's not exactly the most 'unselfish' player around.......

When he began at Manchester United, he was heavily criticised for taking dives so he cleaned up his act a bit. But for some reason he has reverted to it in these last few w.c. games. Make no mistake about it, he will hear it from the Man U. coach when he gets back to England!

As a football player, he is talented and skillful. Its just that he's facing lots of bad publicity nowadays. And he likes to take dives during the game, which is one of the reason why a lot of people dislike him.

C. Ronaldo !!! He has all his skills & talents. He has the fastest boot of all the youngest... Everything is good with him...
Really he is good except a thing --- SIMULATION.

When he has all his talent, why don't he boost it in dat way ???
Why he needs to cheat ???

I think he is plays swimming(diving) better than football. Isn't he ?

Going to a team like ac milan will fix his attitude problem.

Young talent, wasted because he's not matured mentally. Portugal need this guy baddly to shap up. or maybe he can go to inter and play with Figo! the posibilities are endless...
