I think that that they will be fighting the Bucs and the Vikings for the last NFC playoff spot.

As exciting as Michael Vick is, he has yet to prove he can be the leader that a Cunningham was. The Falcons also have the dubious honor of being in one of the tougher divisions in the NFL. The Bucs and the Panthers both made it to NFL's second season last year and you have a very improved team down in New Orleans this year with Brees at QB and Bush at RB. I think the Falcons will have another tough defense that will help lead them to a 9-7 or 10-6 record. Whether that is good enough to take a spot in the NFL playoffs, I don't know.

......Falcons have almost 0 chance at taking the NFC South...
Carolina is going to be a powerhouse on both offense and defense...and as I recall they outscorred Atlanta 70-17 last year in their two games...and that was without Johnson and Williams on offense.
Tampa also has a defense that will yet again slow Atlanta's offense enough to slip by with a victory, not to mention a stable quarterback now and still the weapons on offense to deal a blow or two.
New Orleans even added a few new weapons to the team, mainly Brees and Bush. So with Horn, Stallworth, Bush, and McAllister for Brees to play around with on offense, they could deal Atlantas defense a massive problem.
Atlanta improved the defense a little, Roddy White is getting better and Alge is always good, but Vick still has yet to reach a 3000 yard season or 20+ td passes and in the past two seasons his TD-INT is 29-25.. He's hardly a good enough QB to lead Atlanta to a super bowl without a hardcore defense to back him up, which Atlanta definately does not have.
If I have to guess right now, Atlanta will probably slump to another 8-8 season until Vick becomes a real quarterback.

I think Abraham will make a difference for their rush D.If Vick can stay healthy, which is a big if,they can run with Carolina, which I believe is overrated this year.

hmmm .. hard division to predict ..
NFC South is gunna be a very scarey division next year ..
my predictions though
Division winner: Carolina
but because this division will be so good next year both the bucs and falcons will make the only 2 wild card spots .. unfortunatly for Altlanta .. the Bucs win it all on the back of their brand new CADILLAC!!

3rd place in the division would be a likely secenrio, 2nd as a best possible baring injuries on other teams, and health of falcons.

Not very well, sorry. They will be third behind the Panthers and the Bucs. They will beat the Saints though

They will do good but will not win their division. I think a Wild Card playoff spot may be possible.
