Or, you could use the Cisco "password recovery" procedure.
It is really a password reset procedure. I will post the link to the
procedure below.

If you bought it used then it was not very nice of the seller to leave a password configured without telling you what it is.
Just use the password reset procedure linked above. Remember, the password reset procedure erases the current router configuration. You will then start with a clean router and can create your own configuration. This is the best thing with a new router anyway.

Many of them have a little pinhole to stick a paper clip into that will reset the device to factory settings. If you can't find it try downloading the user manual from the company's web-site.

This page he listed is a very easy process. About the hardest part is figuring out the right break key, which can sometimes be tricky depending on the program you are using.
