Before I state my personal opinion, please consider the following facts: Most Americans today disapprove of George W. Bush’s handling of the situation in Iraq. 50% of Americans said the U.S. should have stayed out of Iraq and never have invaded Iraq. However, most republicans say it was the right thing GOING TO WAR WITH IRAQ. 55% said U.S. troops should remain in Iraq as long as that takes, but four in 10 thought U.S. troops should leave Iraq as soon as possible.

Few Americans have thought the terror threat had decreased because of the Iraq War, and more have said it had increased. However, that percentage is much lower now than it was during the early phases of the war.

However, my personal opinion is that our country is divided on this issue. If your "Pro Bush", naturally it is only politically correct to show patriotism and support our president whether he is right or wrong. If you're "Anti Bush", it is naturally to oppose his process on how he is working the issue of war in Iraq. For your information, the turmoil in Iraq will remain unsolved for many years to come. It is not for Bush's interest to establish a stable Iraq at this moment. He needs an excuse to keep our troops stationed there. To establish a true democracy in Iraq, Bush first must establish a stable secular country. Bush does not realize that he has unleashed a dangerous religious hatred among Iraqis, which was repressed by Saddam. If we Americans do not focus on the cause and keep curing the symptoms in Iraq, soon Iraq will convert into a Theocatic Country. In this case, we would have lost our time, efforts, money, pride and reputation in establishing a pseudo democratic Iraq.

He has no plans to bring our soldiers home at all as for p.o.w treatment he puts on a bit of a show about it but he really could care less if they are treated badly He won't even admit that the people held by us in Cuba are actually P.O.Ws What should this tell you about the man? That all he care about is doing whatever he damn well pleases even if there are laws against it. or if the majority of the country is against it

In the beginning when I found out Bush was running for President on his first term I honestly thought he would do a really good job.......yeah rite.....he is doing such a bad job and the movie Farenheit 911 I believe it is shows how much our President is doing for us.....in bringing the soldiers home, I doubt that all the soldiers will be home because studies have shown that this war may never end.....and now we are going into war with Korea over missiles.....wow we are paying for all of this do u realize this....the money that we owe is way over our heads because Bush has to be a freakin idiot and make the debt HUGE! and now he wants to put men on the border of Mexico.....is he crazy? I really think he is....I also believe that if the war in Iraq never ends that our children will be in it.......I can't believe what this man has brought us too.......I just pray that our next President tries his best to fix some of this because our next President is gonna be in way over his head.......such a headache Bush is........such such a headache.........

I think that bush is doing alright (not the best, but still better than Kerry would have!).

As far as POW treatment... I think tourture is an excellent way of making people talk. Screw all this humaine crap.... this is war. it's like WW2, where efore the war, europe gave lad to Hitler i hopes of him stoppig his coquest. Nope... and it won't work here. If they know somethig, being nice to them won't help.

Iraq on the other hand... well, I think that us finding Saddamm was a mistake. we should have let him stay out there, so we can take out his right hand men as he communicates with them. I also beleive that this is waht we are doing with bin laden.

And our troops need to stay. Yes, not as many, but we need them to keep a somewhat stable Iraq.

I still support bush, although not as much as i used too!

I believe he's working as hard as he can on it. I mean, it's no easy thing managing a war. And just to let everyone know, those soldiers CHOSE to be in the military, therefore they CHOSE to go to Iraq and defend this country.

I was at one time a huge GW Bush supporter, but now I am ashamed that he is the Prez. I think he is just digging a big hole and he is too scared to try to climb out.
