um. there is nothing wrong with reading and if you're friends think so, it might be time to get some more intelligent friends. people that think being smart or interested in things associated with learning is "weird" just need to get a different view on life.

There is nothing wrong with reading! I actually don't like reading a book more than once because I already know what is going to happen... but I read this one book and I have read it 5 times now... I read it every summer... it's amazing... It's called Kissed By An Angel by Elizabeth Chandler and it's a romantic mystery kind of... it's awesome...
Keep reading! It's a fun thing to do... it's your own little world kinda... then you can totally let your friends know about some awesome books you've read... :)

Reading is one of the most wonderful things in the world. There is nothing quite like a book - that is why they always say that the book is much better than the movie. Not only is reading a wonderful recreation activity, but it improves your vocabulary, widens your horizons, improves your imagination and lets you talk intelligently about almost anything.
Your friends are really missing out and if you continue to read like you are, guess what? They won't be your friends anymore because you will have surpassed them. If you keep reading you will become more informed than they are and they will become boring to you.

No. If you want to read, that's great. Nothing wrong with that. Your friends shouldn't think you're weird because you're doing something that's productive. And if they're your friends, they have to accept that you're a reader and move on. There's nothing weird with that. What are your friends doing now? They're probably bored a lot of the time. At least if you get bored, you have a book to snuggle in a corner and read.

Sometimes I feel like I'm weird, always carrying a book around school. But then, I realize that I sometimes use reading to get away from things. You can pretend to be someone else. If you ever think that you're weird because you like to read, remember, you LIKE to do it, and don't change just because of what your friends think.

No way!!!!Nothing is wrong with reading books!!!!!I love reading very much. I guess I'm in the same situationas you. My friends think I'm such a bookworm, they teased me and they even don't want to get near to me.But I finally get some good friends just by talking other stuff except for books. Then they think diffrently about myself , doesn't mean you love reading doesn't mean that you are super weird.

Reading is necessary for having a successful life. You learn a lot from books. If your friends think your weird then just ignore them, who knows what the future will hold for them if they contiue to not read.

There is something wrong with your friends. Keep reading. Books have been around for a long time. They will be around when the internet dies.
