Never ever too old to be a virgin and if you aren't married then you shouldn't be doing it. Sex does come with responsibilty believe it or not. More than just using BOTH birth and std prevention. It is a commitment you are making to each other. And if you still have to rely on your parents then you are definitely too young for that kind of responsbility. But please wait til marriage. You will be glad you did, and so will your husband.

You can never be too young. Now, I was 22. My brother 17. My stepdad 24. My mom 16. My dad 14. My Grandma 16. And I know of one friend who was 40. No age is too old, just ask a nun!
With that said, is your mom worried that you'll have sex? If you are a minor, she has every right to fear. I was happy to wait as long as I did. I will admit, I lost it to a man I shouldn't have. But I learned. (Boredom is not a reason to have sex) And I'm better for it. (Now I'm not so bored). It's more than a physical thing, it's emotional. Are you ready for that connection? That level of trust and truth with another person? Are you ready for a child? Because if you can not honestly see yourself having a child, DO NOT HAVE SEX! Nevermind the diseases you can get, children are a lifetime of changes you must be ready for. Nevermind that they've actually linked a virus to cervical (and penile) cancer, your body is more than just a playtoy. Respect it and choose someone truly special................ even if you're 80 when it finally happens.

You're never too young to be a virgin, or too old either. It's a matter of personal choice, but saying that, you should wait until you are closer to 17 or 18 to have sex. The longer you wait, the better prepared you will be for all the emotional stuff that comes with having sex.

You will be old /young enough when you are mature enough not to argue, over such a personal and special issue with your mother. Instead you’ll know when it's time because you’re able to discuss it if need be as an adult with your mother and/ or the person you are about to lose your virginity with in an adult manner. Be safe when ever it is!

You mean what's too young to lose your virginity? I think once you start feeling the urge to have sex you should be allowed to do it. But, society has to help people understand contraceptives and help people prevent unwanted pregnancies, rather than telling people they can't have sex. I don't think you can be too old to be a virgin, until maybe menopause, when you become infertile and can't have children. If children don't matter though, there is no age that is too old.

what does wanting to go out have to do with virginity? Do you know what that word means? It sounds like you are talking about either dating or your curfew, unless you and your mother are arguing because as soon as she lets you out after dark you are going to go have sex with someone. IF thats really what you want to do then maybe she should lock you in your room for a few more years.
If its dating you are wanting to do, not sex, then you and your mom need to talk about when she thinks is the right age for you and what types of dates she will be agreeable to letting you go on.

You've never too young or too old to be a virgin. You shouldn't just have sex for the sake of losing your virginity to fit in.

Aight let me start off by stating if your under 18 dont even think about it! I recommend that if you do choose not to be a virgin - use protection at all times! When you are ready to decide to not be one you must be willing to accept the conciquences of your decision. If something happens- not just preganacy- theirs tons of diseases out their to. You have to be willing to accept whatever happens as a result of it. But anything under 18 - is legally, and morally wrong!
