I think through all this earths history and human survival thus far, that we will definitely survive the next 10 years. We are over multiplying not to, and for now there is enough sense in a hand full to spread knowledge so that our existence can maintain some sort of level for survival. Giving that an asteroid doesn't hit and blow are planet to pieces or that natural metal(nickle, i cant really remember) that is in the earth that creates the shield that our atmosphere protects us from doesn't dissipate enough to drastically wipe us out(it has shown a decrease) but it is unlikely. Beside I'm sure at least the government officials will survive because they make sure there highly protected. I doubt something that big will happen in ten years to where they'll be wiped out too. we so lucky.

Humans survived in the past because there were fewer of them and they had little impact upon the environment which is their llife support system. That is no longer the case. So unless we drastically simplify our lifestyles there is a real danger that we will be the next mass extinction. The earth will survive, but we will not be able to. How long before this happens is a matter of much debate. As water and food become more and more scarce thousands will just die, and others will fight and kill for limited resources. If everyone in the world consumed resources at the rate of the US we would need FIVE planets to support us, yet developing countries all aspire to the same standard of living as those in the rich countries (and who can blame them) while rich countries encourage them in this, without taking steps to curb their own profligacy. I live in California,U.S.A. and I have my doubts. I literally watch people become more miserable with each passing day.Public transportation gets incrementally harder to take because people are so hurt and confused.
The news from around the world has me wondering how long will mankind last.
As far as the survival of the human species, has anyone been paying attention to the environment? There is an old saying:never eat where you crap or crap where you eat.We have been crapping on our earth for a long time.Oil spills, toxic waste dumped into streams,.the water is poison, the air is toxic and the beat goes on.
I don't believe Jah will allow us to destroy the earth or ourselves but we really need to look at what has been done to our world and what we have allowed to happen .

Yes. Why not? We pass some 20,000 at least, why not some additional 10,000. We have an incredible capacity of adaptation and we survive worst times than the ones we are living right now.

Listening to the new missiles tested by the Koreans and having read Nostrodamous' predictions when I was a teenager, it doesn't look like it will, but Nostrodamous' has also been wrong and we have survived millineums already of adversity, so who knows?
