Oh yeah!!! Freedom Fries!!! I forgot about that?Does anyone else in France know that story?
After France criticized the US for going into Iraq and refused to back the US in the war, some American people--not all, of course--started protesting everything "French" here. They started going into wine cellars and dumping out bottles of French wine. (Oh my gosh--what an atrocity--why couldn't they just give it to me? (''/)) Anyway...so the most ridiculous part was that in the Pentagon cafeteria, they changed the menu on the board to read "Freedom Fries" instead of "French Fries." That was hilarious! I couldn't stop laughing about that when I heard it. Like the French people really care about that? (I know they're not called French fries in France; I was just being silly--aren't they "frites," or something like that?) Cheers... ('',)

"FREEDOM FRIES"!! Just kidding, yeah they had a lot of energy, I don't really follow football(soccer) but I was watching it on the t.v. at the gym, and they seemed to be doin' really good, myabe they had a second helping of Wheaties, I don't know??!!

Both teams showed a lot of energy today, as did Germany and Italy yesterday. Apparently, as the tournament progresses the teams rightfully feel the need to up the level of their play!

Actually France were very tired today & were overcautious walking a suspension tightrope. Viera himself admitted that they were worn out after the battle against Brazil.

after that penalty practically all eleven of them were on their own side of the field.
Portugal is the only one that played. France only stayed back. That's no way to play soccer.
