The Horcruxes

1. DIARY - destroyed
2. RING - destroyed
3. Slytherin's LOCKET - unknown where & IF destroyed yet (I think it has)
4. Hufflepuff's CUP - unknown whereabouts
5. Nagini - wherever Voldie stashed her
6. Something of Ravenclaw's OR Gryffindor's - unknown What & Where (Something of Ravenclaw's is more likely)

Rules of a Horcrux

1.Object must be collectible, as a trophy and chosen with some care
2. Object must have a powerful Magical history
3. Objects that, in themselves, have a certain grandeur

Jo has said the sorting hat is not a horcrux, because horcruxes do not call attention to themselves. Even though Harry does not call attention to himself, he has a lot of attention on him. I doubt he would make a good horcrux.

Harry is basically a half blood, and ol' Voldy wouldn't consider him good enough to hold a part of his soul.

So far we know:
The Cup
The Ring
The Locket
The Diary

Yes, I think the locket that Ginny found when they were cleaning the house is one of the horcruxes. It said in the 5th book that they couldn't open the locket and then later there was something metal glinting in Kreachers bed area, so I think he pinched it from the garbage.

I think it's possible that Harry's scar is one, but I don't know how they would go about destroying it without killing Harry. But it would further explain the connection between Harry and Voldy.

There needs to be something of Gryffindors that is a horcrux and something of Ravenclaws (wait, was the cup ravenclaw's or hufflepuff's?) and then one more thing. I'm sure they're something that we've already encountered but don't know. Can a person be a horcrux? If so, I'm going with Neville. That would be cruel cruel irony.

Harry is not a Horcrux. If Harry was a horcrux then he would have to be killed before Voldemort could be killed. Since Harry is the one who has to kill Voldemort that would make no sense. The Horcruxes that have already been destroyed are Tom Riddle's Diary and the Slytherin's Ring that belonged to Voldemort's grandfather. Nagini (Voldemort's snake) is a horcrux. The other 3 horcruxes are a locket that is probably hidden in Sirius's house, Helga Hufflepuff's goblet and another as yet unknown object that is probably something of Ravenclaw's. The seventh section of Voldemort's soul is in Voldemort.

I think that the locket found at Sirius's house is a horcrux, but if you can remember.....when Harry ran into Mundungus (sp?) when he was selling things that he stole from the mansion. The guy that Mundungus was selling stuff to walked away clutching his collar or something around his neck. I think that he sold the locket and Harry is going to have to hunt it down.

I don't know if you read it or not, but you can read the seventh one to look for the horcruxes. no the locket was not one, it was a trick. Harry scar might be one, that would be cool.

I think Harry or his scar is one of the horcruxes, although, I think we will find that V didn't make him one on purpose. I don't think something as big as a mansion will be one, we are looking for something small.

Actually the locket is a horcux, but R.A.B. took the real one and replaced it for a fake one. So it still is one.
I also don't think that Harry is a horcrux, just because that would be weird and he can't kill himself, and then kill Voldy.

Why would Harry be a Horcrux? Voldemort isn't going to kill a horcrux, yet he wants to kill Harry to regain his name.

The final Horcrux is unknown, but we will find out in 7!

The others I believe are correct.

In the end, we must wait.

harrys scar is not one, because you have to completly distory them so that he can never come back, and you cant do that to harry. also the person who wants to come back has to do the spell himself, and since he did not meen to give harry the scar but to kill him, it cant be one. 1 has been destroyed, by dumbledore, another was taken from it hiding place and is missing, we dont know where the others are. or what the others are. i dont think that the locket was one though, but i may be wrong. tell me wich book thats in, i dont remember.... i will look again

yep i think the locket found in grimmauld palace is the one that R.A.B took. R.A.B has to be regulus black. apart from that i don't know what the other horcruxes will be.
