What are some of the major agents of socialization? Which do you think most influenced you? Why?

Media and Family for me. Family indicating my mother and father who passed on customs and culture to me during the early years of my life. Now, media plays a huge part on unconsciously forming sociological preferable ideals that reflect capitalist ideologies. Media is the sole agent of socialization that infiltrates all people and all aspects of life and more so in a society of globalism and consumerism.

As much as I would like to give some complex answer, the fact is that my parents influenced my socialization. It is simply because they were there from birth to influence me.

School, peers, family, media. I think family has influenced me most since I'm so family-oriented. They come above all else. A part of it has to do with being part Asian, I suppose. It's probably stereotypical to think that Asians are family oriented, but stereotypes are based on truth oftentimes.

Family probably most influenced me, as I had the most contact with them, and we imitate them from a young age.

you know when your young..those are the things you listen to most. authority. authority of the school teachers, of your parents and grandparents and everyone in the family that's older. And tv/media i mean..as a kid you watch alot of tv! and that's how you get your pop culture and learn to interact with kids at school.
