Can someone tell me why people air their business on yahoo answers.?

Maybe because they feel safe,
Maybe they don't want to be put down in person, and have a fear of confrontatons,
Maybe they are lonely, shy, and it is easy to ....test the waters first,
Maybe they are brushing up on their typing.
Maybe they feel noone understands, and are hoping to find soomeone who
has had similar problems or questions,

Maybe it is fun, and a way to relax reading answers, and gives them insight
at the same time searching different topics,
Maybe they like to complain, all the time, or sometimes, or non stop..
Maybe they believe that the numbers game works and one person of many might really care, and have a great idea, or at least an idea they never thought of,
Maybe, they are just lonely and hope somewhere sometime, they hit the big time and actually make a friend, or more on line.
Maybe they think that so many people do this, this must be halfway sain to "AIR THEIR BUSINESS ON YAHOO ANSWERS?

Because.. the internet in a way is like another life for them, in a way they think nothing on here should really matter in life. yahoo answers isnt the only place... places like myspace or aol or yahoo messanger, same thing. Everyone at some point puts some type of information on the internet to air out their business.

Cause nobody knows who you are, and it is a lot cheaper than going to a councilor by far. I personal have asked questions on here and had some very good advise given to me. Some times we need to know something right now and don't have anyone else to ask, and besides that, how many people do you think there is here, that is how many chances you have of someone knowing the right thing to tell you about what you need to know.

Sometimes when life gets tough out there, it's good to see that you are not alone, and sometimes, even though you think your situation is the worse ever, there is always someone out there that is going through far worse situation.

If you ask me, we learn from eachother this way. We can see how some people have handled similar situations and their outcomes. I think this is a great site.

I dunno. Sometimes it's fun to take a real life situation (that I of course know what I'm going to do about it anyway) and elaborate on it to get other peoples' perspectives. Someone might have an idea that I haven't thought of yet, but in the end, it's mainly for entertainment purposes. That, and it's a little more anonymous than going on a talk show or something!

Yahoo Answers is an anonymous way of asking for information without running the risk of exposure to their friends or family.You feel safe to ask almost anything and if you come on often enough you seem to read it all.
