Not that I think it would be bad to make more black superhero movies (I like the Green Lantern) I feel the need to point out that they have already made Blade (and 2 sequels and now a TV series) and Catwoman with Halle Berrie.
A live action version of Static Shock might be interesting.

Yeah I want to see a crazy a** ****** come from my hood that would be least expected begin to fly around, jumping buildings from cops, slapping chicken-heads to save them from embarrassment. S**t like that. We mostly do that already, but we need them in a ill suit. But at the same time we need a brotha' that can get rid of Bush and built a better hood in less than a hour. At least the whole world. But on the serious side. I think we do need a black superhero movie. Honestly. I don't know what I like to see, but I hope that if they do one day. It should be very surprising and better than white hero movies.

There was just Blade, and rumor has it Wesley is in talks about a Black Panther movie. Also a Luke Cage movie is on someone's agenda. But i too would rather see a John Stewart green Lantern than Hal or the other guys...unless Guy Gardner was his sidekick...

Although obscure, I always thought Cloak & Dagger would make a good film. He's a black boy from the streets, she's a rich white girl. Both are made subjects to an experimental drug and gain powers. They couldn't be farther apart, but end up needing each other to survive.

"Luke Cage, Power Man" would be *very* cool as long as they avoid having him say "Sweet Christmas!" I think the movie is in the planning stages or at least on the table for production.
Or a movie about "The Falcon" could be pretty cool.
