John Candy was a very funny actor. Some of my favorites: The Great Outdoors, Summer Rental, Planes Trains & Automobiles.

Canadian Bacon! Loved the American take on Canada and all the common misconceptions they hold. Funny as hell! Annoying that they kept referring to the CN Tower in Toronto by its proper name of the Canadian National Tower. Nobody in Canada calls it by that.
Love John Candy though and just about all his stuff, especially the SCTV material from the early 80's.

Ooooo. My favorite John Candy movie is "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" with Steve Martin, definitely-- and my favorite John Candy SCTV character is Johnny LaRue-- and my favorite John Candy quote is "Lasagna!!!!!!"

Was a sad day in comedy when John Candy died.
Every movie he did was funny in one way or another.

I loved John Candy. It's a shame he died so young. I think my favorite movies from him are "Uncle Buck" and "Plains, Trains, and Automobiles."

Well, I'm not gonna lie and say that I'm a huge fan, and I think that I've only seen one of his movies and that would be Wagon's East, and I think that is one of the most hilarious movies ever. (I am sooo sorry if that's not John Candy in that movie, but I'm pretty sure it is) ;)
