You need to look at yourself honestly. If you are very lucky you also have someone else who can do the same. Is there some other thing holding you back? Is your personality part of the problem? It could be your looks (too meek, to sexy for the office, etc.) the way you sound (get good singing lessons if your voice is not right. Just listen to the people who have the jobs you want, if youdon't sound like them, you ARE being judged for it!!!) , the way you interact with people. Public speaking can help a LOT. Toastmasters is free. Get the MBA if you want, but don't think it's the end all be all and be disappointed if it's doesn't get u where you want to go. what other special talents can you give the hiring manager, can you learn another language while you are there? Chinese is great and guaranteed to help you get a good job but way to hard for most ppl. Spanish is much easier. Here's a hint: Don't take a class for it in college. They fly thru it and it's for ppl who already know it and want to polish their grammar. Learn the basic grammar for basic sentence structures and then learn a basic vocabulary specific to YOUR job intrests. I'm a sales man and my spanish is somewhat limited but I can sure sell up a storm in to spanish speaking customers because I make sure my vocabulary is packed with words needed to make a sale. Good luck.

It will depend on what your career is...... Talk to people in positions that you aspire to have and ask them their opinion. Do a cost-benefit analysis and weigh the pros of an MBA vs. the costs of being in school for 3 years. Good Luck!
