First of all the caregiver program you took must be approved by TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) of the Philippines or else you will not be be eligible for a work permit by Immigration Canada. This is because not all schools in the Philippines are accredited.

There are nanny agencies, but be careful who you use because some are scams. The government does not keep a record of specific or licensed hiring agencies.
That link will give you information about the program and also your rights as a caregiver. There are employers out there who exploit nannies because they are new to Canada and ignorant of Canadian law.
