If your moods are fluctuating anywhere near as fast as your avatar's, be afraid. Be very afraid....

Are you keeping a chart of your cycles, temperatures, and how you feel? You could add foods and meds to that. You may find that some foods trigger PMS. Stress can trigger PMS, too. Stress wreaks havoc on your hormones, and hormones control PMS.

A hot bath in Epsom salts might help. Relaxation techniques may help. If you can find a good naturopath, have him/her test your progesterone levels. I've found that using a progesterone cream helps so much. I use Arbonne's Prolief cream: http://www.arbonne.com/products/balance/prolief.asp

Hope you feel better soon!

Try cutting down on caffeine and salty foods a week before you are expecting your period. I have heard this helps.

You can also talk to your doctor about the PMS problems. He will laugh at you and send you home, saying PMS doesn't exist. Then, go toilet paper his house.

No, actually, maybe there is something he can give you to help.

PMS (or as i like to call it: People Might Suffer) is all hormonal. You may just have extra hormones in your system this month.

I have found that playing a game of Doom, Half-Life, or Max Payne (after my family has locked me in the computer room) to be quite relaxing.
