Do you think my grandpa should be charged with a sexual crime? I am sure they had sex before they were married, one told me so.My mother in law was also 14 when she got married. These women didn't consider themselves dumb little girls at 14, what has changed. If you open your legs then you know what your doing.

That was then; this is now. All the dirty boys of Generation X and Generation Y are undeserving of young girls. They'll just have to wait till they turn 18 and as long as the girl is 18 the guy isn't a pervert.
No really, nowadays it takes two to pay the bills and teenage mothers suck at watching kids and paying the bills. Your grandparents were born into a different world. I have a friend who is married to an 18 year old, and while its cool that she hasn't had her heart broken a million times before him, she's immature (and therefore annoying) as hell.

Back then,there wasn't much law to stop it.
If they got pregnant they had shotgun weddings
regardless of age - to keep up the Family image
they had to get married,or sent away until the
baby was born,gave it to a nice family, or the
girl's Mother raised it as her own.

14 year olds are children and should not be getting married, or having sex. They are not muture enough to understand.
society has to protect children from abuse and being taken advante of.
