I don't know - the new guy is a blond James Bond, like Roger Moore....007 is supposed to have dark hair. Of course, the best Bond was the original - Sean Connery - and his movies were the most enjoyable. Second best was Pierce Brosnan. It seems the franchise though may have run its course and is out of gas. If that's the case - its been a good, long run.

When "Cubby" Broccolli passed away i think he took the Bond chemistry with him. His ex-wife seems to be in ALL of the Bond DVD "Feature Interviews" in each movie (very outspoken). His daughter Barbara Broccolli has been a lead cmponent in the recent era Bond movies. Since his passing away the plots and actors seem to be weakening. I Did not like Dalton or Brosnan. I think most people were overly critical of George Lazenby especially Broccollis wife (If you watch the interviews on the OHMMS DVD). You could abstract all of the recent Bonds and just have Connery, Lazenby and Moore and it would STILL be an excellent series.

Compared to Star Wars and Spidey-Man... I'm sorry but Bond, James Bond will get old if he hasn't already. And the blonde do won't keep him in the box office.

I'm not too crazy about the new Bond, I doubt that it will be as popular as it used to be.
