Yeah, I saw these on SpeedVision, Greg's Garage (which I think has been cancelled). They used BMW K-style inline four engines and the outriggers flip down at speeds below 5 mph or something. They were very pricey, being hand-built machines - base price is around $80 Gs and options run that up to $100K Ameribucks in a red hot hurry.

Damn, I can't find a link just now, but I recall the bike you're referring to. late 70 early 80s ot therebouts. Used Honda in line four in 3 sizes. Carried 2 people (front and rear). Had a kind of torpedo shaped body. Firetsar come to mind as the name, but I'm not sure. Only saw one or two ever.

There is such a bike built in Europe. I don't know the name but I do remember it was pretty pricey, like $100K U.S.
