It's three times the speed of sound, so it's roughly 761 x 3 = 2283 mph at sea level.

Mach is the measure of the speed of sound, and mach 1 is about 333 meters per second at sea level, so at mach three it would be 999 m/s. Sorry thats not in miles per hour, i only know metric. Why do you specifically want to know mach 3?

You should check out the link I have attached. Mach 3 is 3 time the speed of sound. This is not a constant number because it is directly related to the air temperature and a few other variables. The link will fill you in completely and give you the formula that calculates Mach 3. Knowing the formula will allow you to find Mach 3 under any condition. Please note that it is not an exact number only an exact number under certain conditions.

Mach 3 is the speed at which you can travel when you've down three Big Mac's in a row. It's about a minus 1.

Mach is the speed of sound. That can differ based on elevation, air density, etc. but it is generally up around 680 miles an hour or so. Multiply by three 2,040 miles and hour plus or minus.

Mach 1 = 761.2mph @ STP (standard Temperature & pressure in relation to mach). So Mach 3 = 2283.6mph

The simple answer is "three times the speed of sound..."
However, the speed of sound is a variable, it depends on a number of factors... most significantly, temperature.
The "standard answer" is "round about 760 mph at sea level, under normal conditions, all else being equal."
If you assume those conditions, then Mach 3 is 760x3 = 2280mph
