A lot of Appaloosas have Quarter Horse breeding in them already - they are still called Appaloosas

ditto, it's just an appaloosa... if you look it up you'll see quarter horses and appaloosas are crossed all the time. I prefer foundation appaloosas myself (no quarter horse cross in them) but to each his own I suppose, most other people seem to like the quarter horse mixed in.
