So i'm SO BIG on make up! I have paleish skin too but have blue eyes. Definitly go for the pale blue-ish. I read about what to wear with my skin and eye color often. I don't know whether your eyes are smaller or bigger, but its always nice to thrown on a bit of liner over the top. Try a dark sparkle blue. :o] you'll look FAB!

I suggest wearing either a pinkish or a purplish eye-shadow. It really brings out your brown eyes. Also, if you want a really fresh look, try to go for a blush that is rose-tinted. It is good on fair-skinned ppl. Lastly, pick a lip gloss/lipstick that is a berry color. The blush and the lip gloss works on me b/c I also have fair skin.

With brown eyes... you should have colors like gold, khakis (kind of a greenish color, and lighter shades of brown. Don't go too dark in your shadow or you'll end up with racoon eyes, which in my opinion, isn't a desirable look. For a blush I'd go with a light peachy color and then tinted lip gloss. Only one feature on your face should "pop", so if you opt for a bright/darker lip, go with a lighter shade eye. If you have a more dramatic eye shadow stick with just lip gloss. Less is more!

If you have light skin, try to avoid vibrant or deep colors around the eyes like harsh browns (wearing brown eyeshadow with brown eyes always looks awful because it clashes), bright reds or oranges, and dark shades of any color (dark blue, etc.). These tones will make your skin appear even lighter and in many cases, unhealthy and ghastly because of the extreme contrast. Pastels are always a safe bet because they are soft and blend in with your other facial features. Very light peaches always look awesome as an eyeshadow if you have very fair skin. Dior makes a very pretty "Peach" eyeshadow, sold at Sephora or any department store. Olive green eyeshadow will definitely compliment your brow eyes. Try LORAC eyeshadow in "Olive". It's sold at Sephora and never fails me when I want my eyes to look gorgeous. White eyeliner is another option for pale complexions. It makes your skin look darker and more healthy, and also brightens your eyes. Don't go overboard, though! But a simple, thin line across your upper eyelashes looks amazing and matches everything. With mascara, you can really get away with any shade you like. But, as always, wou would only want to wear an extremely black mascara during the evening and maybe darker browns during the day. Otherwise, it looks tacky. Dark lip colors look best with light skin. Avoid light lipglosses, like light pink, because they will make your face appear colorless. A darker red lic color with brown tones always looks classic on pale women. For cheeks, natural and neutral tones work well. The Clinique blushes are great and come in an amazing variety. Blushes with light orangey tones will make you look very fresh, and light pinks will make you look more feminine. If you use concealer or eyebrow enhancers, you want to choose colors that best match your skin/eyebrow color as they are naturally, sometimes even a shade darker to enhance your facial features. Everything you need can be found at Sephora. It's an amazing store! And the people who work there are professionals. If you ask them for assistance, they will usually pick out products for you that are compatible with your facial features and will make you look amazing! Good luck.

Purple, pink and mauve shades look very pretty on brown eyes, not bright clown-like purple, a nice muted smokey purple.
As for foundation, I have pale skin and the worst mistake I see is people that wear foundation that is a orangey and a little darker than their skin tone. when it comes to foundation try the "true match" one by L'oreal, it's pretty nice and has lots of naturl looking colors.

Brown eye shadow works really well on brown eyed people. It works well with all eye colors actually. the important thing to remember is not to put on too much.

Almay makes this really cool shadow collection that you should try. They make one for blue, brown, hazel and green eyes. The brown one has a lavendar-ish lid color with a copper brown shadow and pale yellow highlight. Try it! These shadows really make your eye color pop.

you can usually go into stores like merle norman or dillards and they tell you your best colors usually free of charge. if youre just starting out try light peaches and gradually go dsarker until you get a color your comfortable with. less is more and wearing too much make up casn mess up your skin so start light. good luck
