I know of a guy who is now dating a woman whose husband is in Iraq and she is an undercover FBI Agent. Do you think he can be found? Or does he have the right to know?

Hi
My boyfriend is retired from the military and is now in Iraq as a contractor where he actually stays on a 20,000 sq foot military base. I talk to him either on the phone or by email every couple days, I can't guarantee anything but if you give me his name and any other information you have about him I will definetly ask him to use whatever resources he can to help find your soldier

If she is an undercover FBI agent then you probably wont be able to find him. I would not tell him about this while he is in Iraq. Its bad enough over there. He has a right to know, but wait til he gets home and she should tell him.

Anyone who knows the full name and unit, should be able to contact a soldier...anywhere in the world...through Red Cross. However, the message will be forwarded (email or snail mail), and it would be up to the individual soldier to reply. You will need to be able to say why you are trying to contact the soldier.

Contact the Red Cross. If you know his social security # - he'll be easier to find.

Years ago, I made several calls trying to locate my son's father who was stationed in Italy at that time. Not only did they locate him for me, but they contacted him and told him that I was trying to find him. He called me within days.

That's a very slippery slope. You might want to wait, for his sake, until he is not in a foreign country with a bulls-eye on his forehead. News like this might distract him or depress him and result in his death or someone Else's.
