When you think of a song and hear it in your head, do you hear the original artist singing, or your own voice?

First I picture the Artist’s face in my mind's eyes and hear his/her voice in my head and gradually if and when I enter the ‘trance state’ I feel as if I am singing that very song.

My speaking voice fills an entire room, but my singing voice is not at all any good. I don't even sing in the shower..
So I always hear the music,
as it was originally recorded.

most of the time i hear the singers voice and even if i song i play for the violin is stuck in my head i hear the violin
