I am a chemical engineer by education and profession. I have studied lots of physics, math, and chemistry. They have made my life happier and given me a great job with a good income.

HOWEVER, I would never encourage anyone to study physics, math, and chemistry only. Allow yourself a little break. Study some literature, A little religion and politics too. To be a well rounded person is a great target. Broader knowledge will make you a better engineer.

Politics, economics, etc often intrude on the reality of engineering decisions.

Keep at it
good luck
keep studying those sciences
work a little broadening in there too

I don't know how you motivate yourself but I would suggest concentrating on math the most. Once you get the math, the other subjects because easier. I was a TA for freshmen chemistry and many students who were motivated struggled simply because of poor math skills. I saw many dreams of medical school go down the tubes. Physics is really just applied math. Study the math, the other subjects will then be easier.

enginerd is right...in order to be good at physics, math, and chemistry it doesn't hurt to have a broad range of knowledge. Philosophy will definitely help with physics. Especially quantum physics. What about biology? Not a big fan of biophysics? Anyway, I find that religion helps keep me focused on studying physics, math, and philosophy. Somehow I always feel closer to God when I'm learning about nature.
