Don't know which London Snuffylover is thinking off, plenty of greenery to be found; on a good sunny day it's well worth spending time in the Royal Parks, lunch in Hyde Park is one of my favourite things.

If you're into theatre, try a couple of different ideas. The Open Air Theatre in Regents Park is very enjoyable; when they do 'Midsummer Nights Dream' the atmosphere is enhanced by the sounds of the animals at the nearby London Zoo. Alternatively, try the Globe Theatre on the South Bank; prices aren't bad anyway, but if you go as a 'groundling' (standing in the area in front of the stage, and the best way to get the full experience) it's only £5.

Climb up the monument to the Great Fire of London. It's a little tower with a spiral staircase inside. Can't remember where it is exactly but get the tube to Monument and ask someone. The tower measures the same in height as distance it is sited from the bakery where the Great Fire started in Pudding Lane.
When you get back down to the bottom, the nice man in the ticket booth will give you a certificate for getting to the top! It costs about £2.

There is loads to do in London....if you like markets go to petticoat lane, if you like alternative lifestyle go to Camden for one day, London Dungeon is lots of fun, London eye, see a show in the west end starlight express is brilliant. Visit Soho, have a meal in China town, take a boat trip down the Thames, Madam Tussuad's, Natural history museum, check out whats on at Hyde Park....make sure you grab a map of the tubes and bus timetable.

If you like the theatre at all, GO. The shows in London's West End are among the best in the world, and you can get great tickets for significantly less than you'd pay for bad seats on Broadway.

I'd say The London Eye, then try & get reasonable tickets for a show. Just enjoy the atmosphere!

In just two days you'll never stand still... so many attractions... the eye is great, good views. Parliament, tower, tower bridge, just get yourself a tube map and a guide book, you'll never get round them all in a weekend...

I had the same problem, just moved here. But there is LODS to do!
Go to Camden and you can easily spend a day walking round the market.for nite time,go to Brixton. The torture garden.
Or if that is not your scene, then there are plenty of museums. Not a lot of greenery,I,m afraid!
If You find out any decent places, let me know!!!!!!
