Does anyone have any suggestions on career choices? I'm 24. I've working in Customer Service and Finance since I graduated from college, but really don't enjoy what I do every day. Something I enjoy is working with people and had thought about being a teacher, psychiatrist, and a bunch of other things. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

the field of finance is pretty broad. if you enjoy working with people you could looking into the banking industry, or you could try teaching which might require more education depending on the level you want to teach. since you have some accounting background, there are also jobs you can get in the accounting department at companies, business managers at schools. the best thing i can tell you is check and see what's open around you or give your current job more of a chance. it may grow on you. if not, i am sure there is somehting else out there in the same field. good luck

BE A TEACHER!!! There's no other career where you will impact as many lives as being a teacher. It may not offer all the perks of a corporate job, but you'll have paid summers off, long breaks for holidays, spring break, etc. And the best part about it, you'll have satisfaction knowing that you are preparing tomorrow's stock brokers, accountants, lawyers, doctors, etc.

you or your parent paid good monies to get you educated ...now use it and stop crying. this was what you wanted. there are other positions in your field, check it out where you work. i worked at two bank (1)franklin natl bank as trust clerk pushing figures, applied and got a higher job proofing off the department and taking stocks at the end of the day to the exchange. (2) the bank of new york stock tranfer clerk, mail, . finally i got a much better paying job at con edison as mail carrier, meter reader, turn on and off man, collections, accountant which paid the most money. this is what you're cut out for. when you trying to have something forget about friends. if you got no money in your pockets you'll find out quick. i know it's hard when it seems people are having more fun than you. but believe me you'll have more and get there faster than them.
