Considering how campy and unappropriate the last two Batman films were prior to Batman Begins, I definitely believe Batman Begins deserves a sequel. The hints of the Joker in the end of the movie suggest any sequels would "clean the slate" of the previous movies.
Personally, I loved Batman and Batman Returns. But the movies that followed Batman Returns were just awful and far too campy to be appreciated.

Batman will have a sequel based on the last laugh series were Joker takes over a crime ring and fights Batman for the first time. Joker has rumored to be as adrian brody. Though not confirmed actually i like to see brent spinder do the joker becuase he's unknown and probably do quite well.

Goyer was just interviewed, and said after Nolan finishes up the Presidio or something like that, they were going to fasttrack it, hopefully with a Joker who doesn't get killed. I think they should never stop making Batman or superhero movies ever.

Nothing is finalized yet. David Goyer is writing a script and, while Christopher Nolan has expressed interest in directing a second film, there is no, I repeat NO, schedule, complete script, or even final plans for one at this point. Warner Brothers does intend to continue the franchise, but nothing is 100 % yet.

i was really hoping they wouldve continued the line of Batman films left off with Val Kilmer in the role of Batman, ive been dying for them to write a script for a Batman movie starring King Tut as the next villian, and ive got the perfect actor for that role in mind, aka John Goodman.it bugs the hell out of me nobody's thought of continuing the earlier line of Batman films where there are several villians left that havent been done, like Tut,Egghead, ect.
