I think China (the guys holding the paper on our overwhelming national debt) will merely foreclose. They won't have to fire a shot.

In 50 years if America keeps borrowing so much money our currency will be worth next to nothing. In the states we have a serious health crisis with some of the highest obesity rates in the world. Our government spends more on its military than on every other expense combined. If we keep the course we are on now. America will NOT be a superpower but a nation of fat unhealty and unhappy slaves to a worthless dollar. Not to mention that our environment will hardly be hospitable to life.
America lets take the power back!

With the debt that the U.S. has, it's more likely that the world will own it in 50 years (probably even less). Canada will take Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine; Europe the rest of New England and New York; Russia Alaska; Japan Washington and Oregon; China California; Mexico Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada; Cuba Florida, and the rest no one would really want...

America is never going to own the whole world. her currency is low, and besides some others are being her equal to her in power. its just not going to happen.
