Well, maybe what's left of it if they continue on with their selfish, self-centred and destructive course of action.

Name someone we own now? That almost sounds like a question a liberal would ask saying the USA is this imperialistic nation out to control the whole world. That is not what this country is all about. We try to help other countries because of our goodness. Unfortunately a lot of people just don't see it that way and do not appreciate it.

USA is on the decline, and in 50 years will have lost power, just like the Roman and the British Empires before it. Other powers will rise, eg China,
The sucess of these empires was characterised by their ability to export their culture and civilisation, but now, the rest of the world doesnt like America any more.
"Anti-Americanism has increased in recent years, and the United States' soft power -- its ability to attract others by the legitimacy of U.S. policies and the values that underlie them -- is in decline as a result."

I certainly don't. Britain tried that a several centuries ago and it didn't work. Why would we want to anyway? We've got everything we want and need right here. Besides, we're already messing in just about everybody's affairs now, aren't we? Another reason we can't is we don't have any money. Haven't you heard about the national debt?

I don't think so because Japan and China are catching up with the US in many ways.
