I get scared of a lot of movies too and people think I am a baby. Like one movie I am really scared of is THE RING. And I havent even watched it!! Hre are some steps that might get the movie out of your head.

1. Try to remember, It is just a movie. They use tons of makeup for the clown and for the blood. And no kids are harmed in the making of the film.

2. This might seem crazy, but try to watch it over and over again. (like with a sister or a brother or parents.) If you do this you will get used to it and it wont be scary anymore.

3. If you get scared at night, try staying up and doing some that might get your mind off it. Keep doing it and you might fall asleep while you are doing it.

There are some tips, hope they help you!!!

I am sorry, but clowns are frickin' scary! I got creeped out by Poltergiest's doll when I was younger, and darkness and clowns just equal BAD. What I did was, now bear in mind I was like 11 or 12, was when the images (and if i told you them, I wouldn't be helping) occured after the lights went out, I would imagine a more powerful herotype beating the crapola outta the clown. A second option is this: Clowns are going to be extinct someday, I mean they are about as popular as a nice poison ivy rash anyways.

I'm not sure if the DVD has any but if it does (and you know somebody that owns the movie), watch the "Making of..." or "Bloopers" in the special features. I find that for scary movies, if you see how the movie's made or see the actors that play the scary characters joking around, it helps you realize that everything's just pretend. Kinda like a high school play with a really big budget - lol.

When youre thinking of Pennywise the Evil clown (Tim Curry), just start thinking of Bozo the Clown or Ronald McDonald or something. Or perhaps you could go to the Circus? Like Ringling Brothers? or Barnum and Bailey?

Thing about memories. They dont last forever. Not the bad ones anyway.

lol! That's the only movie that I'm scared of also! I just erase it from the back of my mind and try to think of other things. That's the only thing that halfway works for me. Sorry I don't have any better advice. I guess that movie was just meant to do that to people! Dangit!

write a story about it. it makes you feel like your getting revenge. one time when i was younger i saw a trailer for chucky. i was terrified. then i wrote a story that my idol was on a mission to find chucky and kick his @$$. i made chucky seem pathetic. in my story he was running and screaming away from my idol and sometimes i'd make him run into walls for my own amusement. it's kinda like having a voo doo doll of your fear, then you take that advantage and use it as sweet revenge!

may sound weird, but it works.
