Any advice would be GREATLY appricated!

I am also trying to write a book. From what I've heard the writing part is the easiest part. Getting published is hard, but JK Rowling did it! I went and looked for all the books about the same topic I'm writing about and read them. It's best to cover your ground and not accidentally copy someone elses idea, also you get an idea of what a publisher might be looking for. Find out who published those books and try to get that same company. They usually go with the same criteria.
You'll need to search for a publishing agent who will decide if your story is worth showing to a publisher. Revise your story and check for run ons and so on, but in the end an editor will go over it anyway.
Best of luck!

Yes, I have written a book. Publishing is difficult, I'm afraid. What you need to do is go to your library and check out books on how to get published. There are a million, I'm sure. There is too much info to type to you here. You have to look into getting an agent, sending query letters, getting an editor, signing a contract, the list goes on and on. If you don't know what you are getting into, you could get taken advantage of, so please do your homework on this. As far as money goes; that will vary greatly. The best thing you can do is go into this with the goal of being spiritually fulfilled when it is over, not rich. Your take is a very small percentage. Very few writers choose this line of work to get rich. Most writers write because it is what is in their soul to do. Good luck to you.

I have written two books. The problem is I can't get either of them published. Send a final draft of your book to a local publisher. You can find a directory of publishers online. Make sure it's 100% error free. Publishers hate grammar and spelling errors. Good luck.

First of all study the art of writing. There are a lot of websites, books and college courses on how to write a novel or screenplay.

You will also learn how to get published once you finish your novel if you do this.

Start by going to .... http://www.writing.com/

I don't think most people can just jump up and start writing a novel which is what it sounds like you want to do. ;)

Deuce already stated Screwtape Letters, it quite is awesome. i changed into going to assert really a lot some thing by using C.S.Lewis (who wrote Screwtape Letters). Mere Christianity is likewise very reliable, also the excellent Divorce, Letters to Malcom, and evidently the Narnia thoughts. He also wrote a technological know-how fiction trilogy it quite is astounding. The Narnia thoughts and the sci-fi trilogy at the instant are not actual about -Jesus-, yet about Christian concepts. So those who are not Christians can study them and trust them. 8^)

slick_3501 is right. Go take a few grammar classes before you attempt anything serious. A publisher will laugh in your face if you bring them something poorly written.

Slick_3501 took my answer, although I think it should read, "First learn correct grammar." But seriously it is worth considering...there is nothing of more value than a good editor. Best wishes
