Hmmmmm......

Maybe you don't remember the Cuban missile crisis of the 1960's. Yes, it's a show of force. Unfortunately, do you think our " Dear Leader " just wants it to be a show when for the past 20 years he's been making threatening statements against the US and the capitalistic way of life ?

OK, I know you have to know SOME history...

Try to remember WW2...

Why should we worry about Hitler. He is only protecting his Country.

Japan: Pearl Harbor.

Anything seem to be ringing any bells?
Because to achieve peace in the world requires some action. Should we bomb N. Korea? No.. Should we attack them? No.
What can we do? Well since talking with them does nothing, and the sanctions that have been done do not work, then how is this problem even resolvable with out a conflict?
I think that we have no choice but to have the UN create a resolution against them for testing such a device, especially since it is suppose to be in peace dealings with them and has no reason other then aggression to create such a weapon.
If the Russians, or the Chinese Governments want to veto it, them maybe we need to look at them for what is going on and maybe have them create a resolution?

I personally think it was not N. Korea's test Missile. I think it is a missile that China wants tested, but will not do it from their own soil. Do not always watch the puppet.. there is usually a master attached to it!

I think it was to scare Japan, and South Koreans so that they would try to influence our Gov't to ease off on the restrictions we applied a few years back. The Japanese are totally dependant on us the USA to protect them, but they are so close to North Korea, so I think we should do a little more than diplomatic threats, as the Dept of Defense is now doing. I think we should retreave the missle that was made for long distance, (that faultered in 42 seconds) and drop it on the soil of North Korea, without letting them know we did it. In otherwords, like the boomerang affect. China is their friend, so we have to respect that. Overreacting wouldn't ease the tension that N. Korea has developed over the last couple of years. They seem to us to be unreasonable, but it seems like something is missing. Maybe we'll find out in a year or two. That 7th missle sure sent a message though, so maybe it's too late to try negotiating. You have to remember however, that what we do to N. Korea, we do to China, that's how they think. Ron Couch

Because the leader of North Korea Kim Jong is a candidate for a white jacket with sleeves that tie around back, a rubber room, and an advanced class in ashtray making!

Test shots very rarely hurt anyone. The fact that they are testing a missile that can reach the USA with a nuclear payload means that they are at least considering doing just that. The maxim is: "Capability implies intent."

Why would you spend millions of dollars on a weapon system you do not intend to use? That's why people are worried about testing missiles. The worry isn't the testing, it's that they might use it when it's working properly.

They had no clue how far these missiles would go. What if they would have dropped on Japan. Hello world war 3. And you can bet your *** the good old USA would be the first to get involved and see more of our kids die. North Korea wasn't afraid of us in the early 50's so what makes you think they are afraid of us now ?????????

We could not say that North Korea could not harm any countries. The fact that they have fired missiles show that North Korean capable of shooting nuclear bomb or bomb to do much damage either in Japan or probably the USA.

If their test is successful, don't you think it has landed somewhere in Japan?

Why should they be able to test their missiles to see how far they go or what kind of damage they do - they already are claiming to possibly have a missile that can reach America's west coast - would you really want them to keep test firing missiles and hope they don't get cute and launch one over to us?

Because the missles are a potential threat to China, Japan, and S. Korea, and Russia. Think of it this way, I bomb your public park with no one there, are you going to be angry?

Well; the three stooges aren't here to make movies anymore and we need something to laugh at. They are more likely than not to blow themselves up while they are fooling around with them and it also provides us some comic relief.
