yes, i was abused sexually by my older brother .i have not been able to have a successful relationship with men ever since.the trick is to forgive the person who did this, this means that you have a peaceful life and he/ she doesn't get away with what they did and they don't need to know you have forgiven them and they all have to answer to God at their death.

When I was 14 hears old, I was extemely gawky and underdeveloped. One of the boys in my class gave me a nickname. It rhymed with punt. So I was called #unt-face. It was horrible. I was one of only three people not invited to an 8th grade graduation party at one of my classmates home.
However, I would have to say this was definetly the turning point in my life. I drifted for the summer, but when I started high school I decided to learn how to dress, where make-up and joined an organized sport. I always had good grades but my self esteem changed for the better.
I would never say thank you to that boy. It still makes me angry. I may have come to those realizations on my own. But I learned that only I have control of how I see myself, no one else.

Yes, when I was in my early teens, I started to have periods where I would become invisible. Seriously. I won't be surprised if you, like many others, find this hard to believe. But it is true. Over my teens and through early adulthood, I've had several episodes where I was truly invisible. I live in fear.

the abuse of my father when I was a child and being thrown into a coma for a month because of it. It now causes me insomnia, mental health issues, and problems with getting close to people or trusting them.

I know, it's not as dramatic as others, but that kind of freaks me out >.<
