It could be associated with a number of things, including excessive exercise, such as in intensive athletic training. It can be associated with stress, or some recent illness upsetting your hormone balance. It can also be associated with too vigorous dieting, and if a young woman diets strictly and looses too much weight, her periods can stop all together.

I think if you are otherwise well, and none of the above things apply, then it is reasonable to wait and see if you miss another period. If you start a period, then this is just a temporary hiccup, and it all may go back to normal, but if you do miss another period then I think you should seek medical advice.

Bottom line: Quit stressing about it, stressing about is why you may be late. If worried take a pregnancy test but chances are your not. If still worried have your uterus removed.

Ok since you got your tubal how many times did you think you were pregnant? The chances of being pregnant when you had a tubal are so slim that worrying about it is a waste of time. I wouldn't even worry about my period if i had my tubes tied, so just relax and enjoy it.

even though you have had a tubal there have been cases of women getting pregnant. if you are 100% positive you are not, depending on age you could be premenapausal or perimenapausal. but go to the ob to get a check up. that's the only way you are gonna learn anything.
