Get a bra fitting (Victoria's Secret and major department stores provide that service). You might have an incorrect band size.

A recent survey showed that as much as 60% of all women are wearing the wrong size bra. You shouldn't feel the wire at all, ; the fact that you feel it indicates that it doesn't fit right. Really big department stores like Macy's have folks who can help you with fitting -- Don't "get used" to feeling uncomfortable -- find stores in your area that do bra fittings and get yourself some better quality stuff in the right size. Not doing so could lead to more than just chafing: women often report back and neck problems because their bras make them contort themselves into unnatural shapes in order to find some semblance of comfort. Don't wait, and don't be afraid to ask for help!

If you think you are not wearing the correct size you can go to Victoria's Secret and they will measure you for free.
I wear underwire and never feel the wire scratching. Check the bra to make sure that the wire has not popped out. Sometimes the wire will pop through the seams and can be very pokey and uncomfortable.

you should not be feeling the wire that much...you might want to go up a size, not a cup size but if you are wearing a 34 d try buying a 36 d and that should feel much better...hope this helps...

You should be able to find a bra without underwire that will give you the correct support. I have never found an underwire bra that was comfortable. Good Luck.

Well, it may be too big....I really cannot tell you if it is the right size. Try going to Victoria's Secret or JCPenney, and they will be able to fit you correctly! It should not be hurting you!

part of it is just getting used to the difference. i'd say give it a little more time otherwise you might have to try out more styles.
