There's too much difference between 14 and 19, or even almost 16 and 19. There is less difference between 20 and 25. Is it worth the wait?

Answer is the same as for everything else: Honesty. If he still wants to hang out and be friends, that can be cool, but b/f - g/f is a bad idea right now.

There is no easy answer. She must tell him the truth. For one thing, he is a legal adult, and she is really just a teenager. Other potential problems will happen if she doesn't tell him the truth. If he drops her, then it is for the best. She is still the same person as before, and the age lie shouldn't make a difference.

Wow 19 and 14 is a pretty big difference. I would find another guy to like a lot.

Well, if she really likes the guy she had better tell him the truth, because he could end up in jail for something he wasnt even aware of, and then he sure wouldnt want anything to do with her!

Even if she WAS 16 - she's too young and he's a pervert for wanting to hang out with her.

lol..wow..4real there is one thing she can do is tell him! but the thing about tell him the truth is she may lose him...everyone saying tell him..but you know how hard that is to tell someone u lied for the longest time? i knows its real hard for your friend. but she gong to have tell him..the real facts..because she is just building a relationship based on lies. whats good of a relationship if cant be real. If she is going to tell him then she is going to have really think on how to tell him. For me ..i pick a place where we can be alone and tell him...NEVER DO IT ON THE PHONE!! its just goin to make him even more mad. shes goin to have to do it face to face.

I am sorry, but this is one time where only the truth is going to save you. Getting close to someone when you are underage could get that person in HUGE trouble. Tell the truth.

shes gotta tell the truth. she's gonna feel like a complete idiot for lying, but maybe if the guy is really nice, he'll understand and still want to hang with her.

she needs to tell him before he goes to jail she has to be 16 in most states for a 19 year old to go out with her

She lied from the start...what's the point in pursuing it? When someone does that how can they expect the relationship to go anywhere?
Basically she is saying "You won't like me for who I am..so I'm going to trick you into liking me then tell you the truth." Is she trying to get him into trouble? Tell her to end this now...tell him the truth and take her punishment.
