You will need to pay a monthly fee to your DSL service provider, who will also try to sell you e-mail and other services. If you are only interested in AOL then you can pick the cheapest DSL service provider and use the AOL Bring Your Own Broadband for about $15 a month.

do u have aol aready if so check to see if aol dsl is in ur area they may send u a modem as well just go to aol broadband and put in ur phone number and addy and it will tell u the rest if aol is not in your area u need an isp u may be able to get it from you phone provider

yes you can but you dont want to. AOL will charge a membership fee for just supplying you a stinking browser. you will have to pay your local DSL provider for the line and AOL for nothing. your better off using Internet Explorer or what ever browser came free with your 'puter.

yeah, just have them set up the connection at your house, and you can use that modem. just make sure that the modem your getting is compatiable with the AOL service.
