I need any lawyer that can help me..

My husband has been offered a volunteer research position at a very reputiable hospital with a very good doctor. The posiiton will be for 1 year. The dr has asked that he write him a letter so to committ to him 1 yr of service.. Can anyone help us with the proper wording??:

i think a very basic letter would suffice.

something stating that you hereby accept the position offered by ___ at ___ hospital for a one year term. i would state that you understand that this is a voluntary position and no monetary compensation is expected for your services.
