I would recommend an electric shaver with the little side burn trimmers. Use the trimmers first to get the longer hairs. You do not want them to snag. Ouch! Then use the shaver to finish up smooth. Make sure your skin is clean and dry. Works great for pubic hair too. Smooth as a baby's butt, to turn a phrase. And you don't have to worry about cutting yourself!

The best way I have found to trim unwanted butt hair is with my Black and Decker 16" electirc hedge trimmers. Works great!! Just be sure not to cut the cord.

Electric razor. Using a regular blade will guarantee a cut. Or two.

Don't tim, too dangerous unless you want one of your buddies taking a razor to your bare butt. use wax or a cream. Nair or Veet works good (on legs anyway)

go and get it waxed. its easier.. faster and it doesnt grow back as fast. just take some motrin before you go. it is a bit painful for a minute or two. but worth the pain.
