Me and my freinds have spent many nights in places which are supposed to be haunted. We have taken walks in cemetries at 1;00 A.M. in the night. Even walked in the jungles at night time but have never seen a ghost. But our mythology ( I live in India ) sure has stories about ghosts and demons. About the world below this world. Every ancient civilization had those stories. There are also many other relegions in my country and each has its own philosophy about this matter. There are also many sects here and each has its own folk stories on this subject. May be true but I have not found anything in my quest. And I do not believe in stories just because they have been told since 1500 B.C. I only beleive when I have proof. And the proof will be the day I see a ghost with my own eyes.

I believe in ghosts because how could there not be. With all that is going on in the world, some will stay here to help the ones they love grieve and let them know they are all right. i have also felt the presence of them and so i know they are real. Souls get stuck in our plain all the time and so we call them ghosts. Yes, ghosts are very real and we should respect them.

depends on what you mean by ghosts. ghosts are rare and not alot of ppl see them. A full figure apparition is rare compared to being in a place that is haunted. Many ppl believe that "ghosts" are energy left over by a person after death. Cold spots, warm spots, smells, movement of objects are believed to be caused by the energy of ppl who have died but still exist in this realm for one reason or another. Poltergeist are "angry ghosts" that stay in an atmosphere because their death was violent or the person had unresolved issued at the time of their death. It is believed tha everyone consist of "energy" that moves on to a different level of existence after the death of the physical body. Seeing a full body apparition doesn't happen very often, and are usually seen by close family members or friends of the deceased. When you experience smells, cold spots, noises, movement it is usually a spirit that doesn't have enough energy to manifest in full form but draws energy form other sources to make these occurrence happen. Yes I believe in ghosts, seen one, felt many, observed many odd things that can't be explained by modern science or knowledge. I more apt to call them spirits though!

yeah i believe in ghosts.... why? because i have had so many experiences which i cannot explain such as clearly hearing people talking to me who are not there. and to prove i'm not insane and it's all just in my head, i went on to a hotel with my family for my grandads birthday and when we got there i imediatly heard a lady talking, scream and then nothing. when that manager came over to talk to us i asked her how old the place is and she explained that the castle which is the hotel dates back to the late 17th century. she then went on to explain that a couple of centuries ago a lady threw herself of a balcony for reasons nobody knows. she gave us an article that explained it all and on the article it said that a servent saw her on the top balcony leaning a little far to over, when the servent went to see if she was ok the servent couldn't understand what she was saying because she was speaking to fast, then she jumped, screamed and then nothing, just a deathly silence, exactly like i had experienced. ok, you will probably say that i had researched the place before hand but i didn't. i didn't even know that we were going anywhere until the day before and even then i wasn't told where we were going. whether you will believe me i don't know but i guess you will just have to take my word for it

I believe in ghosts, not like the ghosts that are here to haunt you, but the ghosts that are here to comfort you. Like a little while after my Grandpa died I felt him hug me, and other people sometimes see, hear, feel, or smell something.

YES. I used to live in a haunted apartment building; 64-18 Madison Street, Ridgewood, New York on the top floor. Everyone in the building saw "them". If I had not witnessed "things" when other members of my family were present I would have just thought I was crazy! They ARE real..WHAT exactly THEY are is up for debate.

Seen one. It was an experience which literally haunts me to this day.

Also, while not necessarily a ghost per se, I do believe that I've encountered my late mother's spirit at least three times -- two times in a life and death situation I should not have necessarily survived.

I believe in ghosts, because when they are present or stories I hear and I think they are true I feel them. I am the biggest baby about things like that too. I don't see them because i think I will have a heart attack or something.

Catholics believe in ghosts, they refer to the Holy ghost and spirit throughout the pages of the Bible fairly regularly in reference to Holy trinity or when talking about the human soul.
