We have had problems with much of the middle east since 1979 (our embassy in Tehran taken over). (By the way, Iran is NOT Arab, it is Persian. Some might kill you for that error.) They resent the U.S. for our religious tolerance, for our loose morals, for our wealth and what they perceive as high-handedness, and our support of Israel, among other things.

No. It's because we are not muslim. Muslims are all about two things:
1) All people and cultures must convert to Islam
2) Any people and cultures that do not convert to Islam must be exterminated
I am an atheist, so before you go saying this is Christian vs. Muslim, don't. Islam is unique among all religions. They do not recognize the right of people to practice other religions. Only Islam is allowed. You can convert into Islam, but if you convert out, you must be killed.

No it is because of religions. The middle east are made of mostly muslims/Islams. Therefore they don't like us christians and catholics. That is the reason they hate us, is because we are a different religion. this isnt for all of the ppl in the middle east but for most of them.

Its not the president, they have never really liked us. To be honest im not really sure. I have been told that it is the leaders there. They raise their people thinking that we are bad and then those people raise their children thinking that... That its a good thing when bad things happen to us

Because they've been bred to think that way. Not all of them do though. Its like pitbulls, not all pitbulls are bad, but the ones that are bred to kill are obvioulsy dangerous.
