Either the others are dishonest, which I hope not since the identities on here are anonymous for the most part, or the others put their selves in the shoes of the person who lost the money. If I lost $250, I hope someone would be honest and return the money. For that reason, if I found $250, I would try and give it back to the person who lost the money. You know the old saying...treat others how you would like to be treated.

Some of us are true humanitarians, and know that $250 goes a long way towards food, electric bills, and car payments.
This actually happened to me about 5 weeks ago ... I dropped my wallet outside my car at a restaurant, and the person who found it came inside and asked people at every table if they'd dropped their wallet .. I wasn't even aware yet that it was missing. The wallet had $180 cash, 4 credit cards, and my driver's license. It was all there; I offered a reward, and the finder refused to accept it.
I'm glad you didn't find it; we wouldn't have had groceries for the week.

If I knew who the money belonged to I with out any doubt, would give it back....... MOST defiantly, and I am not a goody two shoes as you say, just doing a decent thing.... The same thing that I would hope for in return....... People in general want to do what is right...... It leads to a much happier person, and better self worth........... Love and best wishes to you.......

cuz people r like that.
if they chose 2 give the money back then thats them.
if not then they would B the ones that will pay the consequences N the near future.
Hell, they wouldnt even know if the $250 was real or not.
People will do anything 4 money now a days.
ANYTHING!!!

What is wrong with being a goodie 2 shoes? Why do you want the average person to have low morals?

Not knowing anyone's age someone old reads a question by someone young and it brings out something primal in people. The answer is that there are extreme types of people asking and answering.

LOL...i think if anything we let our guards down and express ourselves more freely as our identities are concealed. also i know with every ounce of my being that i would return the money, the only way i wouldn't is if there was no i.d., i would not trust anyone to be honest about wether the purse and $$$ was theirs or not.

You say that like it's a bad thing. What's wrong with being a goody two shoes? It makes your life so much easier and happier.

Because a "goody 2 shoes" is more likely to have time to do this stuff.
