A whole lot of creatures were around before Christ.
If you have faith in the Bible then God created all life, probably starting with the Garden of Eden. Jesus Christ was his son and he was born on earth much later.
If you believe in science then it was evolution.
Faith is a belief in something that cannot be proven (and I don't mean with bible verses). The Scientific Method is a procedure where things are proven by observable facts. I put my faith in science, not in a book that has been proven to be wrong (at least in part), unless you believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth.

Genesis 1:1-31..... In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the earth,
then he created Day & night, then the waters, grass and trees, fowl of the air, as well as the fish in the sea......
In verse 24 the Bible says, that ON THE 5TH DAY, let the earth bring forth the living creature, after his kind, cattle, etc. which this is the category that HORSES would fall into. So, there you have it....

Christ never professed to be the creator, he may have said that he was the son of man, and he was proclaimed the Christ by Simon Peter, but this is all conjecture, as nothing was written down about Christ until long after he died, then changed and rewritten countless times so that nothing written about him conflicted with the Messiah Myth.

horses were here before christ came down to earth as a baby but God (who is also Christ) has been here forever and created all the living creatures, including horses.

What are you talking about? God was first, he created horses along with everything else. Do NOT say that something was before god.

There were alot of things around before christ, if you believe in christ and christianity then Adam and Eve were the first, and everything came after that, but who really knows, i guess it comes down to faith.

God. It's all in the first book of the bible. The world wasn't created when Jesus came..it started long before that.

The truth is that no one knows, but science and the theory of evolution have much more concrete evidence than any religion could ever hope to have.

The probably just came around eventually, like bacteria. don't get me wrong. i'm not saying horses are made from bacteria, but who knows?
