ajs answer to everything houston related is that houston always wants to be in the national news. im in houston, i know thousands of people in houston, and i dont believe any of them like the attention that the enron thing has brought this great city.

No. In fact it seems to be the very opposite. Kenneth Lay really avoided the jail time he deseved by dying before he was sentenced. He lived like a king on the money he stole from other people. Money other people were counting on for their retirement. He missed out on living the rest of is life in jail. Or at least most of the rest of his life.

Who cares? Now maybe people will stop talking about Enron. All people in Houston care about is being the national news anyway.

No Way little lady If karma had anything to do...the theives that stole my Acura at the start of summer woud be part of my staircase. I truley believe he Elvis, Bruce Lee and etc are living it up with all the stuff we lost.

Kinda looks like it, but I suspect that there's more to this story. I'm wondering if he decided to do himself in before he had to do any time. Of course, it may have been all the stress that led to his demise. Either way, evil man gone!

We do not know what health issues Ken Lay had or what health issues arose from all of this. He never looked to healthy to me when I saw him on TV.

Yea, unless he was murdered to keep him quiet!
But I do believe what goes around comes around and he and his buddie hurt a great many people who will find it hard to live their retirement years. 2 billion dollars taken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
