1) Air Force Academy

2) Air Force ROTC

You need to fit height/weight requirements and pass a very comprehensive exam. It's not easy.

Edit: In response to Jay's answer: It doesn't quite work like that. One doesn't simply walk into a recruiter's office and say "I wan't to be a pilot!" and expect it.

#1 - A degree will get you a pay-grade of E-4 coming out of BCT. That's it. You can get an OCS option on your contract, but do NOT consider that an automatic bid into OCS.

#2 - In the Army, Aviators fall into one of two categories - Commissioned Officers, and Warrant Officers. There was the "High School to Flight School" program a few years ago, but I'm not sure if they still have it.

The Air Force does not have Warrant Officers.

#3 - Most officers are culled from ROTC or the Academies. OCS provides a small percantage.

LIke I said - if you want to be an Air Force Pilot, apply to the Air Force Academy or go to a school with Air Force ROTC. If you're planning to go to the Academy - good luck. You must be exceptional in both Academics and Athletics/Physical Conditioning, demonstrate a supreme amount of maturity, capability, and discipline, and have the nomination of a Congressional Representative or Senator.

well, first you have to get through high schooll. If you are finished with this, then you have to attend four years of college. You can major in anything! Even if you major in basket weaving, you can become an officer in any branch of the service. Once you finish college, than you go to the recruting center and say you want to be a pilot. Marine, Navy, Army, and the Air Force have piolets, so you can choose from any four. You don't have to have 20/20 vision because there are certain waivers. You do have to be in shape and be ready for some intence training!!

Make sure you have 20/20 vision, too.
