what is your most disasterous or a simple fire work mishap that has happen on your 4th of july?

We (meaning a few friends and I) blew up a next door neighbor's shed, we later found out he was growing weed in there, so the entire street smelt like weed for like 3 hours. It was quite humorous.

I threw a firework that just stayed on the ground and sparked up in flame and flashed onto a picnic blanket between a couple that was making out when I was 6 and it put a hole in the blanket. The guy got really mad and was seriously about to kick a six year old girl's a s s. Luckily my Dad was there so I didn't get hurt, but I don't think that couple ever forgot that kiss.

Several members of my family gathered together a few years ago for a 4th of July cookout. Each brought their hoard of fireworks in totes, boxes, etc-etc. The time came for all of us to begin the evenings fun and entertainment, when a rogue rocket (that my nephew had just fired) veered off and into the large plastic tote of fireworks my niece had placed beside the porch. I've never seen so many running for cover. Up in a firey explosion went $200 worth of fireworks and melted one $5.99 plastic tote..hehe.

Setting a tree branch on fire with a bottle rocket. It went out within a minute, but I was READY with that hose!! Also, I burned the tips of my pretty fingernails handing sparklers to the hesitant little ones. No, I just peek out the windows during the fireworks. No more hard livin' for me, buddy.

Years back I lit one of the spinner fireworks after posting it on a fence. Needless to say the firework chased me around the house & I ended up jumping into a ditch so it wouldn't hit me. Everyone watching found it hilarious--but my heart was about to jump out of my chest.

well the people down the road did illegall fireworks and they did a big one and it landed on the house across the streets roof and caught the house on fire and the best part was we ran home and the my friends picked everything up before any one could see that they did it in went inside and no one got aressted.lol. 2005

well back last year on the 4th, me,my husband,kids,family and friends were all having a good time and we was shooting bottle rockets. well i threw one across the road and it hit the road came back and hit my son in his eye. at first i just thought it grazed him so i told him to go wash his head and clean his face up.so my husband went in to check on him and started yelling for me to come there and i went in the house to look at him and it had hit him in the eye. i had to rush him to the emeregency room. luckily it didnt put his eye out specially when he was only 8 at the time. god was looking over him that nite i still say till this day. it was bad his whole eye was bloody and you could see excately where the bottle rocket hit him.needless to say the emeregency room couldnt do anything so i had to take him to the eye specialist 8 00 the next morning. well he is doing fine now and its all better and has no promblem with it now. he can see just fine.

I was throwing a lit firecraker that went off too fast. My ears rang for 10 minutes and my index finger was numb.
