Look on ebay for the HP Jornada 720, it has a 56k modem, and laptop accessory card where you can put a wireless card and use that to access the internet and email people

You could have your friend try the Nokia 770 if i remember it correctly. Its primary function is to connect to the internet and hence, it can send emails. Another alternative is a pda I suppose...

amstrad released a phone about 2 years ago that offered an email function with it you could also shop on line and down load games if im not mistaken

You could probably try Best Buy or Circuit City..you could try e-Bay if you didn't want to spend as much...I think "V-TECH" makes one.
