They proved yesterday that they are not to be ignored....however, it doesn't seem that they have the capability as of yet for intercontinental missles....I think diplomacy is in order here..then economic sanctions...like we tried with Hussein...

I think we need to be diplomatic. They showed the world they are far behind us in technology.

We should continue spying on them and let them know we are aware of their every move. Definitely consider economic sanctions, because maybe we can cause someone in their regime to take Kim Jong Il out.

I would prefer the North Koreans do their own dirty work.

Wipe them off the map. We're trying sanctions but they are not working. North Korea said that if we defend ourselves by shooting down their missle, they'll take it as a hostile act. Besides, the UN is absolutely corrupt. They won't do anything as long as they can't find a scam in it that benefits them. Liberals just will NOT understand that sanctions do NOT work.

We've already got the sanctions in place. The little puke in charge is literally letting his people starve while he plays with his tinker toys. Diplomacy still has a place, but once again, we are up against China and Russia, who are selling him his toys. We need to be prepared to shoot down any missile which has a chance to threaten. I do think he lost some face yesterday when his rockets didn't work, although internally, it was no doubt hailed as a famous victory over US imperialism...

Negotiate. North Korea has powerful allies; the have possibly up to five nuclear warheads, and none that are capable of fitting on their long-ranged missiles, the T-2's. Kim is crazy, we just need to kiss his butt and help him out economically to ease these tensions.

Aside from the fact that the Armed Forces appear to be stretched a little thin already, I'd give them 2 weeks to clean up their act, then a few air strikes at primary targets will get their attention. We cannot afford to screw around with these people.

We should test fire our missles and hit a target off the coast of N. Korea.

bomb their missle sites. Russia, China, Japan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom are on our side on this issue.

Only one thing to do....build a working missile defense shield....can't attack them without fighting China....(think Korean War) and can't fight China without REALLY hurting the economy...so....STAR WARS is our only viable option...that and diplomacy, but that won't work (think Bill Clinton's treaty with North Korea)

I think we could start by sending them Ann Coulter on the tip of one of our missles.
