My 3 month old has been using avents since she came home. I love the shape of the nipple because she doesn't spit out much while eating. Soon I'll be getting the bigger bottles but instead of getting avants I'm thinking about Playter Nurser Vent Air because the nipples are the same. But I would suggest that you try either one

Personally, Avent has always been great with both of my kids actually. I've heard great things about Playtex Nurser, but what deterred me from using those bottles were the disposable liners.

My son did very well with the Playtex bottle. Being able to push the air out of the bag was KEY in keeping his reflux under control.

I went with the playtex and my daughter still was really gasy, so I keep the infant gas drops in her bottles at all times. The gas drops work really good.

my 4 year old was very colicky and had reflux... we tried different bottles and what worked for him was DR. Brown's.
we tried several including avent and Playtex.. you might just have to try several different kinds before you find what works for baby...
Hope this helps!!!

try the Playtex Natural Shape w/ Airvent. Those seem to work just fine with my daughter. She never has too much gas.
